Antipasti and appetizers

The Greek cuisine is rich with appetizers and antipasti which we call Mezé. All of them are "small dishes" , some fresh and uncomplicated, others rich and lavishly structured. These dishes, using fresh natural ingredients, are not contemporary inventions, but have been set out on Greek people's tables for generations.

Caponata salad

A classic Mediterranean appetizer made with full-flavored aubergines, sweet plum tomatoes red peppers and aromatic herbs. An opulent treat, as delicious on its own as it is served with grilled meat or fish. 


Ingredients: Eggplant, sunflower oil, sundried tomatoes, green olives, red peppers, onion flakes, capers, basil, garlic flakes, celery, marjoram.
